More and more people are moving to Tennessee to take advantage of the wonderful opportunities this great state has to offer. However, roadways will continue to be crowded and congested as more people take up residence here. Unfortunately, motor vehicle accidents are an inevitable byproduct of overcrowded roadways. These days, drivers must remain focused and attentive at all times behind the wheel.
2-vehicle Crash
Recently, an accident in Nashville involving two vehicles injured two people and claimed the life of a woman. The incident happened during the morning hours on Robinson Road. According to accident reports, a van was traveling south on Robinson Road when an SUV suddenly pulled out of a driveway and into the path of the van. Reports said the van collided with the driver’s side of the SUV.
Tragedy
Authorities said the driver of the van and two passengers were seriously injured in the crash and rushed to local hospitals for treatment. A third passenger sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. Tragically, a female passenger in the van later died from her injuries, authorities said. Reportedly, the driver of the SUV was not injured in the crash.
It goes without saying that no person wants to be involved in a crash. However, statistics say that the majority of motorists will be involved in an accident at some point during their lives. Those in Tennessee who have suffered injuries or the loss of loved ones as the result of negligence in motor vehicle accidents reserve the right to contact a seasoned attorney and take legal action. Compensation awarded from a successfully litigated lawsuit could help victims and families recover financial losses that occurred due to an unfortunate accident.
